Sufi Poem :: शिक़ायत

Chekhov's short story "Horse-stealer"

At times your psyche is so nonchalant you want to stay in that ecstasy forever!! Touch wood! i have been bestowed with this luxury by the grace of God, for quite sometime and am making most of it. Devouring a lot of literature,Sufi always feature in most of my lists, you must have understood by now, so its OSHO time, and apart from that reading the doyens of Russian literature Tolstoy and Chekhov.

I always start it with google and found a wonderful site (http://www.readbookonline.net) , to read complete work of great artist.Chekhov supersedes Tolstoy in alphabetical list and i clicked on the list of his short-stories, and web page displayed plenty of stories to confuse me.I randomly picked up a short story titled "Horse-Stealer" and immersed myself in the zeitgeist of gone Russian era. Wont reveal the climax, but it's story of a man ,employed at a Nursing home, who one fine day on his way to one of the cities of Russia, get foisted by circumstances to spend one whole night with a family of horse-stealers, in spite of knowing their dirty business , meets two peasants , a carefree character Merik and one nubile young lady "Lyubka",with beautiful bosom and eventually  gets his horse stolen by the gang. Now that horse belonged to the chief doctor of nursing home and he simply shudders thinking of going back to nursing home without the horse. But the previous night incidents and beauty of Lyubka keep on stirring his mind and first time in his life, he introspects his own mundane life and comes face to face with an eternal question "Who says its sin to enjoy oneself?" ,and resigns his job to wander in search of the answer.
Can't say, if it's one of his greatest stories or something but yes, i felt connected with the theme and story and it prompted me to pen down this article.
Hats off to Mr Chekhov.

Never doubt those who wander, answer immediately appears to them - Sufism

When I kiss the peace, noise go begging,
When I whirl around in noise , peace knows, its turn has come.

Two more Sketches

Title : "You"
Title : "Heart"
Two more sketches, which i could draw in last a few days, are uploaded above. The first one i titled "YOU" and second "Heart". Would have loved to elucidate the mind process behind drawing these sketches, but , i guess it better if i leave it upto the readers to exercise a bit of their artistic sense.
With each drawing i am gaining more confidence and mind is swaying more and is excited to get more out of aesthetic psyche. lets see how far , i am able to stretch my imagination , but rest assured all my work (good/bad) would definitely be shared with all you guys !!! till then enjoy these two.

My debut sketch "Yaatri"

Sketching and me ,surprised!!! well I myself was surprised after drawing this first sketch!but it felt great and I give myself a little encouraging pat for this :-).
I was not feeling that good the other day and was wandering on roadside, when i saw a small kid with art book and crayons & not sure why but in an epiphany , i veered myself to the nearest stationary shop and purchased my art book and crayons, came back to my place and sketched it out in a flash.it seems the concept was lying dormant in my mind/psyche and as soon as i picked up crayons , it percolated on the paper in just one stroke and bingo it was there, my "Debut sketch" and i name it "Yaatri" .
and ya keep waiting, for there is more coming up after "Yaatri". Enjoy and have fun !!!!
