A thick, black framed ,old styled spectacle is the most attractive accessory on his lean , frail and cartoonish physical appearance.I always feel, he is born out of a comic character and rather than manufactured by God, was sketched and sent on Earth, i.e Woody Allen for me.Undoubtedly,one of the finest entertaining auteur of Hollywood ,with more than 50+ feature films and a couple of Oscars under his belt ,he is still in action even at the age of 73.
I am a huge fan of his films and philosophy which he propagates through it.He writes, acts and directs his own stories, and has a distinctive style , which can be safely declared as "Woodiesh" style. Basically sex comedies , his films ,generally revolves around a neurotic , played by himself only and are focused on razzmatazz of Americans , confused with the dogmas of religion,self-doubts , sex and intellect. Isn't it true all around the world ??
His films are fun to watch and power of his films lies in exceptional writing and immaculate direction, the two very important fundamentals of film-making, and his witty dialogues are the highlights of the films. His characters , as i described earlier are mostly neurotic and dumb,approaches normal situations foolishly but with an aplomb , and that squeezes out humour required for the film.He trifles with the seriousness of life, and in a subtle way explores ,how characters are falsely chafed by the Life only ,and tries to establish ,LIFE SHOULD BE PLAIN FUN, well.....I buy this.
